OK, I am greatly impressed with this whole LoTW deal. A big thanks to Bill for these instructions. Yesterday, I decided to get involved with LoTW and using DXBase 2004, I was able to generate an ADIF log to include over 50k QSO's dating back to 1/1/98. The ADIF file was over 18 MB.
Running this log through TQSL, it generated the necessary .tq8 file which was only 8 MB. I E-mailed this to the LoTW, it was accepted and now my 50k plus QSO's are in the system. Way cool! Thanks again Bill! If there is any interest, I could write a tutorial on the entire process and place it one of my websites. If you are interested in such a tutorial, let me know. I'm up to ears in alligators at work, but I'll see what I can do. 73, Don AA5AU ----- Original Message ----- From: "FireBrick" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>; "DXBase List" <[email protected]> Sent: Friday, July 04, 2003 5:55 AM Subject: [DXBase] Basics of submitting LoTW > I've gotten a few request as to how to submit LoTW via DXBase. > So here is a few ideas. > > > First you have to download the LoTW software and have it installed on your > computer. > You have to apply for the certificates. > The instructions are pretty clear. > > Once you have the certificates and password from ARRL you can upload. > What I do is use the Wizard to make a .adi file of all qso's after Jan. 1 > 1998. > Save it to a safe place. > (Selection Wizard in DXB.
