I would not recommend modifying counties in DXbase unless of course there is a confirmed error in what is provided. ( I don't think there are any in DXbase 2004 ). The spellings are based on the County Hunter's reference and the official listings. Dade was renamed some time ago.
Since the reference data is something that is distributed with the software, it would be important for us to be kept informed of any errors that are detected so that we can update our default reference data. This way, next time we ship upgrades, we can make the change.
