Hi friends, 2 cents from a long and happy user of DXBase. I agree with Jim that the addition of a new band etc. should be made available between official new releases at no expense. I'm also a user of N1MM for contest logging and I'm amazed how fast those guys addapt their program to concerns and problems .... and at NO costs! Anyway, I'm still very happy with DXBase and the features it has. When 2005 is available and has nice new features, I'd be happy to buy an upgrade if it has useable new features!
Jack, Courtney: one thing that would make me happy is a map with grids and zones that shows wkd/cfmd zones/grids for a band ... exportable as a .JPG/.BMP .... And a beam-heading map .... which also shows day/nighttime. (a la DX4WIN). That way I/we would not have to run 2 extra programs besides DXBase. That's what's still on my wishlist. 73 de Frank, ON9CC PS: Jim, the 4381 is still working FB !! :-) ----- Original Message ----- From: "Jim" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: <[email protected]> Sent: Wednesday, December 10, 2003 12:10 AM Subject: [DXBase] Updates > I am using Dxbase 2004 and have been a user since DxBase 2000. > > One thing I would like to see are updates during the year to correct issues, > IOTA, CALL SIGNS, NEW BANDS (60 METER), NEW RADIO SUPPORT etc. verses the > typical once a year which requires you to by the newest version which will > be now be 2005 probably at Dayton in May. > > 73 de KE4WY Jim > > > _______________________________________________ > DXBase Reflector - Please visit us on the web at www.dxbase.com > - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - > To UNSUBSCRIBE please visit: > http://mailman.qth.net/mailman/listinfo/dxbase
