By golly, its fixed.  Found 1 <filename.txt.txt> plus a correctly named 
<brag.txt>in 
DXBase sub directory.  Ended up properly re-naming the .txt.txt file, 
uninstalled 
WinPSK from the machine and wiped out the sub-directory and desktop shortcut.

It now works.
