Jim, I use WinXP, very happy, stable as a rock, no resource problems. Full multitasking while running DXB, Writelog, Cluster, and Email.
your mileage may vary. One important thing to consider. XP no longer will work with LPT for cw/ptt/fsk. You need a add-on program. And some people have problems running serial port cw via onboard com ports while add-on cards work ok.
