Hi. I'm a past user of DxBase who switched to Dx4Win a few years ago. Due to the developers lack of support for LOTW, I'm considering moving back to DxBase. You know the old adage, "The grass is always greener..." Well, I fell for it and now I wish I hadn't. That being said, I have a few questions about DxBase that I'm sure the user base can answer. Feel free to point me to the docs when/where appropriate.
1. What's the process you use to update your logs with confirmed LOTW qsos? 2. DxBase looks like it has separate confirm types for card vs. lotw. When doing a submission is it easy to mix and match qsos from both sources? 3. If you have migrated your logs from Dx4Win to DxBase; was it painful? Looking at the output from Dx4Win ADIF format, it looks like it's missing lots of fields. Most importantly the confirmed field. OUCH!! Feel free to ad lib here. I'm just looking for basic information at this point. I've been to the DxBase web site, but haven't finished reading all the available information yet. Thanks in Advance. -Brian 73 de W2SUQ
