Hello Floyd:

    I also have a number of pre-1975 QSOs in my log.  Does this make us both
old timers ? hi.  I got my license in 1969 when I was in Junior High.  I
think you can evaluate the DXbase demo version for free.  For my CW QSOs
prior to 1975, the "Valid" column shows them to be OK for "Mixed", but not
"Mode".  After 1975, both are checked.  So, I think you have your answer,
and will be happy with DXbase !
    An example of this working recently is during the TJ3G dxpedition - I
have a TJ1AW 40 meter cw card from 1971 or so, but DXbase showed that I
needed TJ3G on 40 cw.
    I'm a satisfied DXbase customer since 1993 !
