Tom, If this ever happens again - you "can" make a new pqsodlft.co all OK by using the Field Order "utility" .. I don't know what I did wrong the first time thru .. BUT, I corrupted the pqsodflt.co file again (on purpose) - and then used the 2004 Field Order utility to make a NEW pqsodflt.co file ... It worked all OK this time ...
Tom, I did NOTE though that you apparently CAN hit the ESC key (which looks like it simply jumps from the "power" field backwards thru each of the fields in that window - each time that you hit the ESC key .. AND, if you STOP at the first field -- and exit the window -- everything is still OK -- BUT, if you "keep hitting" the ESC key thru another sequence of fields -- NO WAY!!! That is when the corruption takes place.. BUT, at least we KNOW that you can make a new pqsodflt.co file easily.. by simply using the Field Order utility from your Windows / START/ DXbase2004 / Field Order // Just wanted to share this further info with you. 73 Joe wa6axe Tom Althoff wrote: > I wasn't paying attention while in the Previous QSO's window and hit the ESC > key a few times instead of closing the window by clicking on the upper right > hand corner of the window.
