Folks, Based on a review of the investigation that several of you took part in this week, we have concluded that the ARRLID field published in the ADIF spec is incorrect. Probably a typo was made when that spec was posted to the ADIF web site. Since the ARRLID field for P5 (N. Korea) was originally established by the ARRL, and since the ARRL indicates that the correct value should be 344 and not 433, we recommend that you change your DXbase 2005 primary prefix database entry for P5 to show 344 and the correct value. To do this, you simply open your Prefix database, locate P5, scroll to the right to view the ARRLID field and overtype the existing value of 433 with the correct value of 344. More info is available on the support page of our web site.
Regards, Jack
