Tnx Jim. The VE provinces showing as States is a known bug of LoTW. They are using the wrong adif convention.
As one of the beta testers...I've been harping on it for months to them. The Alaskan County if a problem. I think Alaskans get a bit cabin crazy during those long nights and can't remember the proper spelling of their county. Bet it was the 'Star' county. Even their web site gets it different. As for wrong mode. I just had a STRONG discussion with LoTW people about error checking. Wrong county names, wrong zones, etc. Part of it is the convention LoTW uses, and part is just wrong data entry. Good luck. I'll let the group know when LoTW starts the beta testing of the next version...won't be for a while yet. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Jim Preston" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: "DxBase" <[email protected]> Sent: Tuesday, September 28, 2004 11:08 AM Subject: [Dxbase] LOTW Import Errors Report >I imported the LOTW report that I downloaded from the ARRL, and got the >expected warnings >about states for VE stations, etc. What was interesting, however, was that >some warnings >showed the mode as digital when the actual mode was SSB.
