Try typing YU, YU1, YU2, YU3, YU4, YU5, in the Summary window in the upper
right under call sign. Different countries shows up. No Serbia-Montenegro.
I looked in DXbase Data Access Country Prefixes and could not find YU1, YU2,
YU3, YU4, YU5 and Serbia-Montenegro. Am I looking in the wrong place? Do I
need to add Serbia-Montenegro?
Jim

Ok I will just count it as a YU1 since it uses YU and YT. DXbase has not
created a country named Serbia-Montenegro or if it is in DXbase it will not
sort to it and I cannot find a prefex that has that countries name. So what do
i do? My conclusion is nothing since it sorted it properly by DXbase as a YU1
Yugoslavia leave it as is. Try typeing in YU, YU2 and other countries appear.
Gets complicated when looking for something.

Yugoslavia
* Yugoslavia becomes Serbia-Montenegro: Yugoslavia's parliament has voted
to formally abolish that nation and replace it with a new country called
Serbia-Montenegro, which were the two remaining Yugoslav republics. In
accordance with a deal arranged by the European Union and aimed at keeping the
two republics together, Serbia and Montenegro will continue to share a
capital--Belgrade--and a joint administration for defense and foreign affairs.
The new arrangement will have little immediate impact on Amateur Radio. For
DXCC purposes, Serbia and Montenegro will be considered a single entity--at
least for the time being--and amateurs there are expected to continue using
YU/YT prefixes. The situation could change in three years when residents of the
two republics would be allowed to vote to stick together or go their separate
ways. Yugoslavia was established in 1918 as the Kingdom of Serbs, Croats and
Slovenes. DXCC criteria are available on the ARRL Web site
<http://www.arrl.org/awards/dxcc/rules.html#sii>.

Today it is Croatia, prior to 6-5-1991 it was YU, if the card says
Serbia and Montenegro then I would map it to that.

Hi Bob
I am having problems again.
I have a QSL card from YT2D 27-05-1990 599 599 0206Z 7000.00
The ARRL gave me credit for Serbia & Montenegro, is this Yugoslovia? DXBase
does give it a YU prefex.
When I type YT2D in the upper right hand box in the summery it comes
up with Croatia. What is going on. Does the you look like it is maped right?
This one looks strange to me.

Bill has suggested this before. I tried it with DXB 2004 and it did not
work. I have given up getting DXB 2004 to send CW (DXB 2002 did it for
me) and downloaded CWDecoder XP. It works fine with Win 2000.
