DxBase is doing exactly what it is suppose to do on the YU prefix... 
Because of the separation of countries in that part of the world there is no 
prefix relative to YU without a number designation added -- YU1, YU2 etc... So 
DxBase reads the callsign as Y which is the German Democratic Republic, which 
now, of course is a deleted country...

Take a look at the Mapping for the Old 'East Germany'.
For a while in the '80s they were using Yand a two digit number.
for instance. Y27XX.

Forget the formal name for now deleted East Germany.

You may have mapped something there inadvertently.
