James,

      There does not seem to be anything wrong with DXBase. You are
DEFINITELY allowed to count 6-M and 2-M contacts for DXCC. In fact, I just
recently received my 6-M DXCC (No. 739) after working on it for 37 years!

      Here, from the ARRL DXCC Frequently Asked Questions, is the official
answer to the question "For what bands can I get a DXCC award (See Rule 1)?:

<http://www.arrl.org/awards/dxcc/faq/#_Toc84661307>

      All bands from 160-M through 2-M are allowed.

      I think you can use the selection wizard to exclude 6-M and 2-M
contacts if you are not interested in using them for DXCC purposes. Also,
you could (not recommended) mark each of those QSO's as not valid for
DXCC. Then they would not show up.

      Also, the 6-M QSO would count toward your Challenge Award
totals. And, I totally envy you that YV?D contact on 6-M. I have 101
countries confirmed on 6-M but not Aves Island. They only made 177 TOTAL
QSO's on 6-M.  Congratulations!

  Just to let you know the log must have got corrupted sometime during all the
program renewals from 2000, 2001, 2002, 2003, 2004, 2005. I deleted the log
entries in question and relogged them and now my computations are correct and
ready for the ARRL. Thanks for all the advice.
