I have the program on desktop PC and laptop too, Al. How did you "copy"
the mdb? I actually zip the main database and refdata.mdb and other key
files from the desktop PC, put them into a shared folder (the computers
are networked) and then extract them directly into the DXbase 2005
directory on the laptop. If you extract to the desktop PC into a temp
file and then do a drag/drop to replace the mdb, that may not work.

Subject: [Dxbase] Laptop ?

GE Folks,
I have DXBase 2005 loaded on my desktop PC as well as my laptop
and it was
working fine on both. This afternoon I copied my MDB file to the Laptop
as
well as Refdata.MDB and now when I launch DXB I get a message asking if
I
want to send a error report to MS.

Memory serves me I have done this before so I am wondering what
could have
happened. Any ideas ?

Thanks
