I have a Yaesu Mark V and it works just fine with dxBase 2005, but I would like
to make a change to something, just not sure how to go about it. I think the
change would also be made in the Radios.INI file. Again now sure what to
change.

I used HamScope to do my PSK. It calls MMTTY to do RTTY. In order to use
HamScope to do RTTY I need to switch the radio to PKT/USB then when I pick the
RTTY mode in the program all works fine. Now what I want to do is whenever
dxBase tells the radio to go to a certain frequency which is programmed for
RTTY I want the radio to setup as PKT/USB instead of RTTY. Does that make
sense?

The reason I want to do this is when the radio goes to RTTY mode it seems to
switch to LSB. When I change the PKT/USB so I can use RTTY the frequency
changes and I have to retune to the freq it just came from.

Any ideas?

Thanks and 73s
Bob

Hmmmmmm
Art, I use MMTTY also, and maybe we are talking about two different things.
First off, you can call MMTTY from the Programs Menu option, you don't have to
turn rig
control off, and MMTTY can be set to the same com port at DXBase cw is set to.
MMTTY has it's own little logging program that is easily .adi imported to
DXBase.
or
You can download the free HamScope which uses the MMTTY engine and does save
directly to
DXBase.

At this very moment, I have DXBase and MMTTY both working on the same computer
and each on
a different monitor although I could easily do it on the same monitor.

You are correct in that MMTTY will not DDE link to DXBase, but I don't think it
will do
that to any logging program other than Writelog which needs that little add-on
applet.

Please let me know why you have to turn off DXB rig control.
