Talley, Go to the DXbase Main Menu and click-on Help / then on Help Topics / then click-on the Index TAB / scrolldown to the topic of "Screen Colors" ... that will let you setup the screen colors.

I doublechecked the accuracy of the "Claimed Score", etc -- by using 2 other DXbase user's own Writelog file and also N1MM outputted file. In both cases, the report that I made came up with the exact same Claimed Score. So, it looks like we can output a Cabrillo formatted file straight from within DXbase2006. I didn't know if I could program the report to give the proper output with all of the MATH being correct. But, I was delighted when it checked-out 100% correct. The current report file is ONLY for DXbase2006 and for the ARRL 10Meter contest from this past weekend. Other contests would have to be programmed separately. But, it really all depends on "what" contests the users of DXbase2006 would really want to see/use ... and, of course, this new report and any future reports (for other contests) would be "keyed" on the DXbase2006 user placing the "exchange info" (for the other station worked) into the Special-2 column .. When I programmed the current report, I needed a "stable / fixed" column of our logbook so that I could always "find" the info that I need to make the output of the report. I look for any comments from any 2006 user.. And, of course, I know that a lot of DXbase users already are using other contesting s/w programs. So, this effort really is only for those users who do "not" have the other contest s/w programs. 73, Joe WA6AXE From [EMAIL PROTECTED] Tue Dec 13 18:12:15 2005 From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] ([EMAIL PROTECTED]) Date: Tue Dec 13 18:15:50 2005 Subject: [Dxbase] Saving Colors in DXBase? Since I have never been to Dayton to see what Jack has, and doubt I ever will go to Dayton, it would be nice to know what it does look like. Maybe some screen dumbs and colors used on the website would be nice. I look at and and never can think of what I would want it to look like other than default, then again as I said, never seen it any other way. I've probably just missed something simple, but after adjusting the colors on DXBase 2005 to my liking (although it never looks as good as the demo that Jack always has at Dayton), I exit DXBase. But next time I start it up, it goes back to the old version with no colors in the individual windows. What intermediate step am I not doing to save my work?
