There are several ways to accomplish this but personally, just copying the database to the laptop and then copying it back is probably simplist. Remember, if you transfer it by way of using a CDROM, that after you copy it off of the CD onto the laptop and vice versa that you must set the file properties to remove the read only flag that is automatically set by Windows. Also, you might consider also including the refdata.mdb file to copy back and forth with your database .mdb since refdata stores things like manager info you change etc....
