Just when you thought you got rid of me... T32Z used to use N7YL as his manager. Her address and call appear in the QSL Info window. However, T32Z is currently using K3PD. I can add his call, but the QSL labeling system will not accept K3PD. Using the Manager Database module, I removed the mapping for N7YL to "manage" T32Z and changed the "ROUTE" from "2" to "1" for K3PD.
Now, in the QSL Info window, K3PD is the only manager showing up, but the address is still for N7YL. I cannot delete the address for N7YL because there are still mappings in the database for N7YL. I don't dare delete the other mappings for N7YL, because they may be legitimate. Now what? Personally, it seems somewhat ambitious to retain addresses in a personal database (what's in my DXbase manager list isn't going to match what might be in some else's). If one needs current addresses, it seems more appropriate to go to the internet. With that in mind, is it feasible/possible, to disable the information part and just retain the callsign for the manager? As it happens I had exactly the same managers and their addresses. I also went and deleted the N7YL as the manager, changed to 1 Went I went to try it...it now worked properly and correctly showed the DeVolpi name and his address as the manager. One possibility...go back and check if that incorrect manager still exists. And do a 'initialization' I exactly duplicated your situation and the results were correctly applied. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Art Burke" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: <[email protected]> Sent: Monday, February 27, 2006 4:53 AM Subject: [Dxbase] QSL Manager Database Just when you thought you got rid of me...
