Subject: [Dxbase] Follow-up on the IC-7000
Message-ID: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>

Hi all,

Managed to get DX Base to work with the IC-7000 more or less. The
radio's default hex address is 70h, and I copy/pasted the section
from the 706 Mark IIG and just changed the address.

What is somewhat annoying is the lag between clicking the QSY command
and the radio actually responding. I changed the pacing from 50 to 10
and it made no difference. Using 19200/N/8/1. Any way to speed this up?

Also, when I have the radio in split mode, I can't seem to get DX
Base to acknowledge the activity on VFO-B or post it to the cluster,
etc. Is this a known issue with ICOMs?

Thanks

- Peter
