Now the only program that I have trouble with is DXBase 2006 when clicking a
dx station on the cluster DXBase band switches the radio but not the Steppir
Control until you click it a 2nd time. It's always one behind switching the
steppir..switches the rig to the proper frequency every time.

You have to change bands with a radio control program verses the front panel
on the Orion, assuming you have the Y cable configured correctly. Programs
such as N4PY, Commander, and Ham Radio Deluxe etc. work fine. Now the only
program that I have trouble with is DXBase 2006 when clicking a dx station
on the cluster DXBase band switches the radio but not the Steppir Control

Subject: [SteppIR] Orion II and SteppIR Controller Interface Tracking

This past weekend I installed my new BiggIR Vertical, but for the life of me
I can not get the controller to track my Orion II. Using the WYE cable, with
ORION and 57800 baud selected in the transceiver set-up menu and in general
freq mode - nothing. Has anyone had success getting the SteppIR Controller
to track the Orion II or am I just missing something very obvious - which is
probably the case? Thank you.
