On computer one, I use dual monitors, same resolution as you.
 WinXP PRO.
NVIDIA GeForce 6800 video card.
I can not duplicate your anomaly.
DXBase runs on the 'Primary' monitor.
There are parts of DXB, that do not work correctly if moved to the
'Secondary' monitor.

On computer two, I also use dual monitors,
Win Media Center/XP
a DUAL CARD NVIDIA GeForce 7900 GS, with SLI disabled
same resolution as you on both monitors

DXB runs on the 'Primary' monitor here also,
I can not duplicate your anomaly on this computer either.

I do not remember ever hearing of this anomaly before.

What kind/brand of mouse, and does it have 'extra features' like 'scroll
over'?
There is a feature called 'X-Mouse' of some mice and also in Power Toys that
allows automatic focus acquistion upon 'scroll over'.

I tried that a while back, and I was always 'grabbing' or 'moving' windows
and finally disabled it.
