This I think is because of the Microsoft Access database structure. The previous qso module uses a kind of "hash file" or index file as part of the Microsoft Jet engine (database engine) to parse the database into smaller indexes that provide key information based on smaller fragments of the total database in this case the call sign field. Sometimes the indexes get corrupt or are not fully read into memory which will cause the problem. A rule of thumb would be not to panic but just close the module and re-open it if you have a doubt about the data return integrity...
Was I clear ? I was in my own feeble mind anyway :-) /j -----Original Message----- From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] On Behalf Of Garth Hamilton Sent: Monday, January 22, 2007 2:03 PM To: [email protected] Subject: [Dxbase] Re: Dxbase Previous QSOs Yes I have had this happen frequently 73 Garth VE3HO QSL MGR ZD8Z VP6DI etc At 03:27 PM 1/22/2007, "Bill Parry" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: >I was doing my monthly QSLing chores and had a funny thing happen.
