To all: It was my hopes that by making a standalone EXE program file for the CQDX Marathon Award submission, the program would really help out in the amount of time it would take to hand-poke-in all of your calendar year QSOs..
But, it seems that various versions of the EXCEL program can give some users problems.. Suffice to say - I (myself) late last night found my Office 2000 (with the EXCEL 2000 program) -- had totally forgot that I even had the thing laying around - as I don't do hardly anything with EXCEL. And, now, I finally got the chance to fully use my exe program and the CQDX Template(s).. If - you are having problems making this work on your end - AND - you definitely want to make a Calendar Year 2007 submission - I can "offer" the following to help (since the deadline for CY2007 QSOs is 31 January 2008): Email me your DXbase 2006 or DXbase2007 logbook mdb file (ZIPPED-UP) and tell me if you are wanting to make the Calendar Year 2007 QSOs submission!!! I will then run my exe program against your logbook mdb file and then MAKE the CQDX Marathon CY2007 Template input (with your Countries and Zones data) - then I will email BACK TO YOU - your CQDX Marathon (template) xls file -- and YOU can finish the project by simply filling in the "upper-portion" of the Template spreadsheet. But - at least your QSO data will be in that xls file that you will be emailing to the Award Manager... Pse let me know if you need the help for CY2007 submission. 73 Joe wa6axe
