I originally posted a question on UTC offset with DX base. When I first upgraded to DXB 2007 it was running on an XP laptop. When I bought my Vista desktop, 32 bit, I installed DXB on it. For some reason, I was having problems with a log entry reflecting the correct Zulu time so I set my PC clock to Zulu time which cured the problem.
Now I'm not sure why I had that problem but after receiving a couple of answers here that DXB would adjust automatically to the correct Zulu time based on my time zone, I've tried it and it works as advertised. I've been a loyal DXB user since the DOS days and I know it is a powerful, very flexible program. My problems with it are my problems and my needs are my needs so sorry if I stirred up thread that upset some on here. I did not intend to do that. I will continue to use it but will also look for a solution that works better for my needs. Good DX and 73 all!
