Jon, Make sure that when you restored, you know where the file actually went. Vista puts things where it wants to put them and not necessarily where you think they should be.
For example, my .mdb on my Vista machine is here: C:\Users\Wes\AppData\Local\VirtualStore\Program Files\DXbase 2005 If you restored your .mdb to the DXbase location in Program Files, that's probably the issue.
