The first thing I did after Jack's announcement, was to backup my log file by doing an ADIF file export of my full log file. I feel like the train has left the station on DXBase support. And, if I have to make a recovery, it may have to be to another logging database (Reloading backlevel software can be difficult ). I have used the exported ADIF file to load trial versions of LOGIC8 and the regular version of DXLab, to try these products. I did learn that Logic 8 was unable to correctly interpret the ADIF file from DXBase(DXCC errors) - although the DXLab product did correctly interpret it (DXLab has a specific interpreter for the DXBase ADIF file ---obviously all ADIF files are not created equal). I will be evaluating other programs in the next month. 73, Merle - W0EWM ______________________________________________________________ Dxbase mailing list Home: http://mailman.qth.net/mailman/listinfo/dxbase Help: http://mailman.qth.net/mmfaq.htm Post: mailto:[email protected]
