Dxbase ADIF is not 'quite' compatible with the ADIF2 standard,
specifically with regard to some of the modes and how it exports LOTW
QSL info. As a beta tester I bought this up with jack several years ago
but nothing was done to fix it.

regarding your export, Make sure that the selection wizard has no
filters set as this may be why the export is not going too well for you

So Far I have looked at nGEn log (pretty but missing a lot of features
at this stage)
Dxkeeper (cluttered and over complex )

YFKlog, simple but effective console based logger for linux. works great
for logging, DXCC tracking and QSL tracking but short on features

Ham radio delux V 5(beta) has a log book that I will take a look at
next.

What we really need is a concerted and co-ordained effort to develop an
open source logging package, this way we won't find ourselves in a few
years time the proud owners of expensive abandon-ware facing data export
difficulties. If developed on an appropriate platform this could be
cross platform, not just for us linux users.
