Dxbase is now working; I copied the k4em database and refdata files to a
directory. Uninstalled dxbase, re-installed, everything was there. Ran the
wa6axe prefix utility, and all is ok now. Thanks for everyone's help.

Subject: [Dxbase] How do i fix this?

I connected a USB disk to my main computer. I then dragged, instead of
copy/paste, the dxbase2006 directory from the c: drive to the USB drive. Now
dxbase won't start from the icon or from within dxbase. The database repair
feature under dxbutility fails too. I copied a new dxbase.exe and database
file to the program directory, no luck.
