Shalom Fellow Amateurs
On the question that has been asked, if QSL cards from "GlobalQSL" are real
the answer is Yes.
Let me explain: The Amateur sends his logbook to "GlobalQSL" in digital form,
the computer on the other end (at "GlobalQSL") prints the QSL card, sorts it
and arranges it to be forwarded to the various QSL bureau without that any
human hand touches it.
Once the information has left the computer of the Amateur, it can not be
altered.
DXCC sees these cards as regular cards coming from anywhere in the World.
And accepts these cards as being valid for DXCC Awards.
There is however one minor United States problem, which is:
A QSO confirmation by way of a QSL card from an United States call to another
United States call, for example; W2ABC confirms a QSO with K9XYZ, while both
are located in the USA, This particular card has to go either via the QSL
manager of one or both hams or be mailed "direct".
This card cannot go via the bureau, as US terms with the US Postal Service does
not allow this.
"GlobalQSL" has solved this problem, by automatically rejecting these cards.
With other words, these contacts can not go via "GlobalQSL" the computer
rejects the card.
By the way, this has nothing to do, with being valid for DXCC or not.
On the question, if it is expensive ?
Let me say this, for the price you pay, you get a color card on both sides,
printed, sorted and mailed.
If you have your cards printed elsewhere, buy and print labels with your
computer,(remember the price of the labels, ink cartridges) than you have to
sort them and bring them to your local club or mail them.
Each one decides for himself.
Gentleman, if you have any further questions, feel free to ask and you'll get
an answer.
Meanwhile see you in the pile-ups.
Shalom from
Israel
