Neal, More thoughts on the issue:
Norm from ARRL says, ".......I suspect that the program is using a feature that communicates with loTW to "sync" your log with LoTW" Does DXBase 2007 have such a feature? If so, this might explain how my logging program, DXBase 2007, has info on QSOs confirmed via LoTW. If this has been going on, then I ask why have I not been informed? Also, why have they apparently not continued to "sync" after approximately 4-4-2008? I'm not angry, just confused about what has been happening. Syncing seems a good idea, except I can't include the LoTW QSLs until I have actually paid for them. 73, Bob ________________________________ From: BOB MUELLER <[email protected]> To: Neal Campbell <[email protected]> Sent: Mon, April 26, 2010 8:46:06 PM Subject: Re: Populating QSLS Column with "LoTW" or "Both" Automatically Neal, The problem is that as far as I know, I do not get any ADIF files from LoTW. I have not requested any. I have sent my entire log, in several uploads over the years, to LoTW. In addition, I have sent my list of physically confirmed DXCC QSLs to LoTW. Don't understand how or when my DXBase log gets the information about LoTW conformations. 73, Bob ________________________________ From: Neal Campbell <[email protected]> To: BOB MUELLER <[email protected]> Sent: Mon, April 26, 2010 2:49:03 PM Subject: Re: Populating QSLS Column with "LoTW" or "Both" Automatically That is a good one! Have you looked at what LoTW has recorded for that band/mode/prefix? I wasn't aware that LoTW included the physically confirmed qsos until last year so I wonder if they would indicate Both in the adif file you got from LoTW?
