I tried it again using different search parameters and used contacts without / , etc. Used W3LPL and 3B6CF where I have a number of QSOs both confirmed and not. The date order is completely random, regardless of the search parameters. I am using DXBase 2007.
I can't say that it is a huge inconvenience but it would be nice to find when there are a number of QQSOs with the station. For example, entering AA4 will return all records containing AA4. Entering AA4LU will return all records that contain AA4LU such as AA4LU/P...HA/AA4LU, AA4LU, etc... Apparently during this mod is where the changes we are seeing took place. 73 Joe wa6axe > From: wa6...@hotmail.com > To: a...@mtaonline.net; dxbase@mailman.qth.net > Date: Sun, 1 Aug 2010 19:58:14 -0500 > Subject: Re: [Dxbase] Couple of items for next release > > > Gary and all: > > DXbase2006 Previous QSO window -- when you do a FIND of a PREFIX, the > listing is SORTED by Callsign (Ascending) and within Callsign - by date and time > (Ascending). > > DXbase2006 Previous QSO window - when you do a FIND of a Specific > CALLSIGN, the listing is SORTED by DATE/Time (Ascending). > > AND -- in DXbase2007 -- the FIND of a PREFIX - it is the SAME way as 2006 .. > > BUT - when you FIND by CALLSIGN -- My listing is SORTED by DATE/TIME ** (Descending) ** . > > > Joe wa6axe > > > > > From: a...@mtaonline.net > > To: dxbase@mailman.qth.net > > Date: Sun, 1 Aug 2010 16:34:10 -0800 > > Subject: Re: [Dxbase] Couple of items for next release > > > > In the "For What It's Worth" department, I've gotten back three replies so > > far that the Compact database action does not correct the sort sequence > > problem in the Previous QSO's window.
