Since everyone is letting go with their feelings about the new version,
I guess I will also.

I agree with Merle on just about everything that he said. I am not
working on the challenge, however.

I have been using DXB since it first came out as a dos program. When
windows first came out I upgraded to a windows version (can't remember
witch one). I did not upgrade again until 2001! Was not necessary.
DXB was doing everything that I wanted it to do. The only reason that I
upgraded to 2001 was the Y2K problem remember that?

I said all of that to let you know where I am coming from. I started
playing with computers back in the early 1980's with a Commodore 64
machine. I learned to write a little basic and assembler. It was a new
toy. Well I am over that now. Been there and done that! I don't want
to have to relearn a new piece of software just because of an upgrade.
I want the new version of DXB to look and work much as 2007. The only
thing that I would need to see is that the installer would work
correctly with Vista and Win 7, and a seamless interface with LOTW!
That is it. Leave the look and feel alone. It is fine just the way
that it is.

Well that is my one and one half cents worth.
