The one very annoying attribute of DXbase 2007 is if you shut down the hardware before the software it REALLY hoses up your computer. After rebooting the computer you then have to go set everything to initialize on startup again.
I'm not a programmer nor do I play one on TV BUT several other programs that interface to the Rotor, Radio, and K1EL keyer do not have this issue. They don't lock up and they don't require you to reset settings in the program on restart. Yes you have to close the program and restart to see the devices but it doesn't uncheck all the devices! Just venting. I've done this twice in the last two days. Maybe a HUGE note on the power supply to CLOSE DXbase BEFORE you touch any power switches?
