Joe, Here are my words from May 2011 -- talking abt DM-780 and HRD 5
//quote// ALL: I was trying to see if there was a way to make a BRIDGE for the HRD5/DM780 program -- NO!! The HRD4 with DM780 CAN send the BASIC QSO data directly to DXbase -- and this has been that way for years now -- BUT, when HRD5 came out, the method by which Simon sets-up the COMMS to any external program (Like DXbase) is that DM780 + HRD5 + DXbase have to ALL be active ... So, with this in mind - I am not going to proceed any further on trying to make a BRIDGE for HRD5/DM780 to send the BASIC Fields PLUS the EXTRA ones -- If the DM780 could talk directly to DXbase - without having to have HRD5 Main program ALSO open -- I would try -- but, this really is too much -- and, we have so many other programs out there to select from. Just FYI for any HamRadioDeluve (HRD5) users! 73 Joe wa6axe // end of quote // 73 Joe wa6axe > Date: Thu, 1 Nov 2012 13:49:18 -0700 > From: [email protected] > To: [email protected] > Subject: [Dxbase] DXBASE and DM-780 Log > > Hi Guys, I have change out computers and it seems that before I could log a > contact in DM-780 and it would put it into DXBase. > > I think I need a DLL or SDK or something to do this?
