Joe,

Ok, I tried being more patient, not exactly my strong suit, and it finally
worked. No speed demon, but it eventually gets there. In my case your report
took 4:47 to read the 86,602 records and another 3:30 for the report pages to
show up. I jumped to the end of the report, which took several more minutes to
process, and discovered it produced 17,539 pages. Don't think I'll be printing
it out anytime soon!

I know Neal is busy with V10 and hopefully this new feature will be easier to
accommodate in the new release. It would be nice if the Wizard could be used
to select just the records that are flagged in the Award column for DXCC and
then crunch just those records to set the Verified indicator. It would produce
a much smaller report that could then be merged with the existing records in
Club Log and those changed indicators would replace the old ones, rather than
having to upload the entire mdb log file.

BTW, my reading of Michael's announcement leads me to believe that he can
handle both <QSL_RCVD> and <LOTW_QSL_RCVD>. I wrote to him seeking
clarification and see on the Club Log reflector you did the same. We should
have the verdict shortly.

Thanks again for all your efforts Joe. It is appreciated by all of us
dedicated DXB users. In case I forget, have a most Merry Christmas this year.

Gary AL9A

file for Club Log - WA6AXE

  Gary,

I am running (right now) your own AL9A.mdb file that is from Dec 2011 - it has
69,254 QSOs in it ... YES - the report DOES run slow ... but, if you are
patient,
it will finish .. ONCE the report is finished going thru the processing of the
QSOs -- then it has to FORMAT each page of the report -- THAT does take time -
since you logbook is very big ... just wait for the report itself to come
into view.

There never has been a SIZE problem with any of the reports.

The CLUBLOG people (themself) ONLY said about the QSL_RCVD adif field ..
So, THEIR OWN software is right now ONLY able to handle QSL_RCVD with the
  " V " ...

  OK -- YOUR AL9A.mdb logbook's 69,233 QSO -- "just" finished ... so, it WILL
TAKE
a few minutes for your CURRENT logbook to run -- just be patient and it will
be there for you .. Your 69,233 QSO logbook takes up 14,511 PAGES that makes
the full report !!! It will be OK though Gary.

  Joe,

Thanks for getting involved so quickly with fix for the verified indicator.
I was unaware that there already was an adiexportClubLog report in my 2007
  Standard Reports section.

I just downloaded the new report and txt file and updated my files.
Unfortunately, I cannot seem to get the output to work. The report chunks
along for a considerable time reading the 86,600 records in my mdb file, but
then when it gets done it just seems to hang there and no report details are
displayed. The header line with the print and email icons remains grayed
out too. If I click on the report page the whole window goes light gray and
the top bar says Not Responding. If I close the window, either with the red
X or with Task Manager DXB2007 crashes and shuts down. Did this to me
  twice.

Is there a limit to how many records the report can handle? Or does it take
a long time to organize the report after reading the records? I waited what
seemed an eternity, probably a minute or so with no response before clicking
on the window and causing the crash. Should I just be more patient and wait
longer or what? Any advice appreciated.

On more thing before I forget. In the adif output file from DXB there are
two fields (QSL_RCVD) and (LOTW_QSL_RCVD). Does your new version of this
report also handle the (LOTW_QSL_RCVD) situation? I would hope so as I
probably have more validated QSLs via LOTW than with cards. If the report
is only catching card validated QSLs many of mine will be missed.

  Thanks again.

  Gary AL9A
