Running DXBase v1.09 under Win 7 (32). As I was getting my Win 7 (32) set up going, I experimented with port settings so that I could communicate with everything. During my testing, all went well and I could select either radio 1 or radio 2 and manipulate both. But now, I have an odd problem.

I just fired up DXBase (v1.09) and found that when I tried to make a log entry, the frequency is read from Radio 2. But, when click on a spot to grab it, Radio 1 gets the spot frequency. Yet, when I try to log an entry, the frequency comes from radio 2. I wanted (and expected) o read the frequency from Radio 1. I can select and deselect Radio 2 from the Tools pull down menu, but DXBase insists on always reading the frequency from Radio 2. Within the band plan, I have set everything to "deselect."

So, to recap, if I select Radio 2 form Tools, I read the frequency form Radio 2 and send spot frequencies to Radio 2. When I deselect Radio 2, I send spot frequencies to Radio 1 (as expected), but still (sort of, see below) read frequencies from Radio 2, which is unexpected. It gets a bit weirder, though: if I deselect Radio 2 and make a log entry, I read whatever the last frequency was from Radio 2, not the current frequency from either radio. If Radio 2 is selected, all is as expected. If radio 1 is selected, things get wierd.

Radio 1 is a TT Orion 2 and it is selected with no other check boxes (no DTR High etc.), N81, the speed is set properly (57600). I even tried disconnecting radio 2 through the "Options" menu, but that made no difference. I've tried repairing the DXBase2007 v1.09 installation, but that made no difference. I've tried restarting Windows and no joy there, either.

I must be missing something; any ideas what it might be?
