Do you actually have "21" comports in your computer? If not, why don't you just redefine your COM21 to something that is within the range of what is supported in DXbase. And, set the comport speed to something within the range of what is recommended by Kenwood.
Just saying... -----Original Message----- From: [email protected] [mailto:[email protected]] On Behalf Of Halvard Eriksen Sent: Monday, February 18, 2013 7:59 AM To: [email protected] Subject: [Dxbase] Radio connection. Hi. I am using a TS590 connected to my PC via USB. The operating system is Windows Vista. In the control panel the radio port shows up as COM21 using 8bit, 1stopbit no parity and 115200 baud. I am controlling the radio ok from MixWin with this setup. When I try to set up DxBase 2007 it only supports ports up to COM16 and up to 57600 baud. When I try to write 115200 in the Baud combo box I get an error message. (Only 5 characters allowed). Also an attempt to set COM21 manually in the COM Port field fails. Any good ideas? 73 de Halvard, LA7XK ______________________________________________________________ Dxbase mailing list Home: http://mailman.qth.net/mailman/listinfo/dxbase Help: http://mailman.qth.net/mmfaq.htm Post: mailto:[email protected] This list hosted by: http://www.qsl.net Please help support this email list: http://www.qsl.net/donate.html ______________________________________________________________ Dxbase mailing list Home: http://mailman.qth.net/mailman/listinfo/dxbase Help: http://mailman.qth.net/mmfaq.htm Post: mailto:[email protected] This list hosted by: http://www.qsl.net Please help support this email list: http://www.qsl.net/donate.html
