Al, The icon tool bars can be moved by left click and hold while you drag it to a new position. The trick is to click in the right place. If the tool bar is horizontal look closely at the left side. There is a faint double line of dots near the left edge of the tool bar. This is where you put the pointer when you click and drag. If the tool bar is vertical, the sweet spot is near the top of the tool bar and now looks like a double line instead of dots. Again click and hold while you drag. The tool bar should go blank and you see just an outline of the box shape until you get it into position and release the mouse button.

What I'm talking about is the command icons that I've placed above my log information. These are the "buttons" that allow me to post a spot, print, look up QRZ.com, search for previous QSOs, etc. Up to now, they were easily moved just by holding the left mouse button and moving these clusters of icons wherever I wanted in that space. 73 Al, VE1AL ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ From: [email protected] [mailto:[email protected]] On Behalf Of Dave Gmail Sent: Sunday, March 17, 2013 7:29 PM To: [email protected] Subject: RE: [dxbase] Screen setup Sorry click on the top of each window, drag to where you want, then release the mouse click From: [email protected] [mailto:[email protected]] On Behalf Of VE1AL Sent: March-17-13 6:21 PM To: [email protected] Subject: RE: [dxbase] Screen setup I don't have a clue by "hold" button, Dave. I tried Cntl, Shift, Tab and Alt and none worked. The two windows are still on top of each other and wasting several square inches of screen space. 73 Al, VE1AL ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ From: [email protected] [mailto:[email protected]] On Behalf Of Dave Gmail Sent: Sunday, March 17, 2013 2:53 PM To: [email protected] Subject: RE: [dxbase] Screen setup Click hold, then drag to inline. When I opened DXbase today the icons for spotting, searching, printing, etc. have moved one below another when all along I have had an extra line for my logging windows. For the life of me, I just can't remember how to move those icons up to the same line as the others. Can someone refresh my tired old memory? 73 Al, VE1AL __._,_.___Reply via web post Reply to sender Reply to group Start a New Topic Messages in this topic (6) Recent Activity: a..
