The callsign VK9DAC was used earlier this year from Christmas Island (VK9X). If you already have it mapped to VK9X, It can't be changed to VK9L with the dummy QSO method (you will receive an error message). The change can still be made though by opening the Country Prefix database, Call Map tab and changing the mapping for VK9DAC from VK9X to VK9L.

Subject: [dxbase] Heads-up on upcoming DXpedition as VK9DAC (ambiguous prefix)‏

ALL:

Just a heads-up about a callsign that are in the AMBIGUOUS category for Prefixes ...

//VK9DAC//

 Just saw that the callsign VK9DAC from Lord Howe
Island (OC-005) during  14-20 October 2013.
This callsign will default to Norfolk Island (VK9N) because of the Alias Map table mapping.

This callsign is not currently MAPPED in the CALLMAP table -- so, if you want,
 simply make a dummy QSO with this callsign and change the PREFIX column
of your logbook mdb file to VK9L and then when the pop-up asks you if you want to save this VK9DAC mapped to VK9L -- say YES/OK ---- Then delete that dummy QSO ..

 The CALLMAP table will now be updated in advance so that if you work this
 station -- it will have the correct PREFIX in your logbook QSO window ...
