I have been using the same version of DXBase for several years. It is DXBase
2007 Version 1.06 and it is on a Windows XP machine. It works great and I
have seen no reason to change it. The other day, on a lark, I thought I
would set up the CW memories so that I could send from DXBase. I have used
Writelog for years and it sends CW very nicely using my Microham CW Keyer.

I set it up and it seemed to work fine, seemed like it was a little flakey
but nothing I could put my finger on. After a week or so I got an "out of
memory" message from the computer. I leave DXBase running all the time and
reboot seldom so I figured it needed to be rebooted. I did that and it
worked OK but after a week or so I got the "out of memory" message again and
this time it locked up the computer. I looked to see what I had running in
the background and found nothing unusual.

I am certainly not very knowledgeable about computers. I went in and reset
the comport that I was using so that the CW memories wouldn't work and have
had no further problems. This is not a big deal, I would seldom use the CW
memories but I am a little curious if anyone else has run into this?
