Neal,

Sorry for not responding more quickly - been busy -

Anyway, not completely sure I understand what you are asking, but I think
either scenario would work.

Thanks and 73,

Rod/w7zrc

Its definitely an issue.

Assuming that its unfixable (which I am investigating), would you want to force
all programs started from DXB to terminate before quitting (automatically or
just not allowing a quit until the spun off programs have quit)?

DXBase startup problem
Running Win 10 and for a few weeks now I've had this problem:

I have exited DXBase and it has been off for a few days. When I double click on
the icon or even rt-click and Run as Administrator, it starts a process but
doesn't come up on the desktop. If I go to Task Manager and stop the process,
then re-click on the DXBase icon, it comes up on the desktop and everything
works ok.

I have checked to make sure the properties are all set fully for the directory
and the executable(s).

Two other Ham programs have this same behavior too, N1MM+ and HRD ver 6.x

Other apps like MS Word doesn't have this behavior, they all start up normally.

Any thots or suggestions? Sure would like to clear this up. None of them used
to act like this. I suspect a Windows update, but who knows?

Thanks and 73, Rod/w7zrc
