Dear ,, It is of high imprtance to consider adjusting your blood glucose to normal levels in order to avoid future complications in the eyes, the kidneys, yur feet, your teeth, ... and more !
I am not trying to scare you but I am trying to let you take issues more seriously ... complications do not come at once but they come after long periods of time maybe 10 to 30 years ... and the more you are controlled ,, the more you will avoid sever complications so please take care for your health and well being. Yes HbA1C - is also named Glycosinated Hemoglobin ÇáåíãæÌáæÈíä ÇáÓßÑí and this when done every 3 month , it lets you have an indication of how you are well controlling your diabetes... But HbA1C does not replace regular check ups for : - Fasting blood glucose ; to be from 80 to 120 - 2 hrs after meal glucose ; to be less than 160 -------------------------------------------------- HbA1C recommended for diabetics to be less than 7 -------------------------------------------------- These numbers are not strict but they indicate at least minimal control of diabetes as far as I know. May the doctors please correct me ... Eng. Ahmed H.
