I was ponder this also, but I was trying to come up with a way to allow updating of
the Widget compatibilities by the Widget author(s) themselves. I couldn't think of
a way right off hand to both present the info and also allow updating. It would
also be nice to have the ability to add notes here and there, maybe linked as foot
notes at the bottom of a page.
The Database end of things should be fairly straight forward.
This type of display might also be slick to include as a help option in DYNAPI
enabled sites [ at least in mine ], "Why doesn't it work in your browser, well this
is why" and throw up the current compatibility chart.
Just some related thoughts.
