Addendum to my last, re: MachSyscall vs. EventSyscall at the BPatch level:
MachSyscalls are intended to be cross-component; EventSyscalls tie things pretty tightly to ProcControl. Unless there’s a good reason to keep things as events, I think I’d prefer to break open the EventSyscall and present the BPatch users with MachSyscalls plus some extra data.
