this is that you have version 6b of the jpeg lib and you should have 6a

I would suggest recompiling the gimp from source as a first attack on the
problem, but from your description, it sounds like all those new libraries
are incompatible with the current version of gimp. either downgrade your
libraries, or wait for a new, compatible version of gimp to come
out.
