Anybody else having a problem bringing up TGC? All I get since last night is either an Internal Server Error or a Can't Connect message.

Gary

Gary, I noticed the same thing! I am guessing they are fucking about with their hardware (seems to be a lot of that going around huh?) as the IP number changed recently. I noticed also their email seems fucked up.

Also, since egold itself hasnt worked for a couple of weeks, perhaps theres some testing going on or something.

One thing -- as I programed the system (!) I can tell you definitively that there is utterly no chance, whatsoever, that any money or anything is LOST.

In fact, I just looked at all the db backup sites around the world (they're encrypted so I cant see anything) and your (or whoever's) money is safe

(Somewhat safer than at egold just now i might guess <: )

Actually, as I mentioned, since e-gold essentially hasnt worked for a couple of weeks, the TGC folks are pretty much sick of it.

The only reason they did TGC was as an experiment to complement conventional online casinos, its a total money loser (if they won ALL THE GOLD IN CIRCULATION it would still be a waste of time compared to a conventional casino), so I would not be surprised if this is pretty much be the end of it

(If not the end of egold.)

Of course, e-gold won't be able to give us any estimates about what caused this, cant post it to this list, when it might be fixed, who's fault it is or whatever.

Hey Eric! You think YOU have problems! Imagine the TG people yelling at me every five minutes for two weeks because "this egold thing is down or what? is this joke?"

Ah well ...
