The above link has a line stating

Evocash charges a minimum of a 1 Evo fee for every transaction. 1 Evo is
equivalent to 1 US$. e-gold charges a 1% fee capped at 50 cents. What
kind of strange funky math is used to make 1 less than 1/2?
I have no problems saying it now...
Evocash is a scam.
