The Sun is the symbol which is common for all nations, and there exist old international (partial) name for it -- The Sol -- which is now -- Solntse (noun) in Russian, Solar (adjective) in English, Le Soleil (noun) in French, anyone more? ... The Sun is yellow like gold, the Sun is beautiful like gold, The Sun is round like gold coin, the Sun can benefit like gold, the Sun can hurt like gold, .. Gold embroidery on blue background is like the Sun in the sky, this colour combination is the royal one in many countries. It may be a good idea to create the name for gold monetary unit based on the Sol part in the words above. It may be also a good idea to use old Italian monetary unit soldo as another part for construction, and may be dollar as well. Something like -- sol, soldo, solar, sola, solaris, solarius, solaro, solla, sollo, sollar, sollaro, ... The name should be easy to say and easy to understand and easy to write without errors. And the name should be good for both marketing and public relations purposes. O in the Sol is suitable for graphic design, it is round like both Sun and gold coin. 3.
