I agree, Ben!

I thought the article was ludicrous. Firstly, they seemed to have been
supposed to have been discussing the activities of counterfeiters, but ended
up merely finding fault with the Euro on the basis that because there is a
banknote large enough to fit a million (British) pounds worth of Euros into
a suitcase, then that makes it easy for money launderers! I seem to remember
that before the 1930's 'Great Depression' the United States had $1,000 bank
notes.

If 'money laundering' supports the activities of organised crime, then
surely a case full of Ben Franklins is equally (or more so) handy for money
laundering than any number of $400 notes or whatever?

Anyway, as I've recently bought a DVD player (and a computer with a DVD-ROM
drive in it), and I'm in Australia, I think I will now go and check out your
e-gold auctions.

Regards,

Ian Green
