E-gold account holders have been hit with a barage of phony E-mails that appear to be from e-gold. At first blush they appear genuine, unless you realize that e-gold would never send such an E-mail. These E-mails contain links to perform the requested action, be it "re-activation", "security checks", etc. . . -- woe to those that follow the links and perform the requested actions -- byebye gold!
We'll, now these schmucks are trying the same thing with EZCmoney. See the E-mail below, and note the similarity to one of the fraudulent imposter e-gold links. EZCard, Inc. You better pay attention to this, else it's gonna cause you & your users alot more grief than necessary. Perhaps EZCard, Inc. & E-gold/G&SR/OmniPay, and GoldMoney can team up to smack these dolts upside their head.
